No. DailyVerse requires no account, no login, and no email. You can use every feature immediately, completely anonymously. Your data stays entirely on your local device.

Yes, completely free. There are no premium tiers, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. All features — including AI Reflection — are available to everyone at no cost.

Yes. The interface is fully responsive. You can also add it to your home screen as a Progressive Web App (PWA) via your browser's 'Add to Home Screen' option for offline capability.

Click the Heart button next to the verse text on the verse card. A badge showing the total count of saved verses will update in the top nav bar.

Click the Heart badge button in the top navigation bar to open the Favorites & Spiritual Journal drawer. Here you can write reflection notes, prayers, or thoughts for each saved verse. Your notes auto-save in your browser when you stop typing or click outside.

Yes. All favorites and journal notes are saved locally in your browser's localStorage (`generator_bible_verse_favorites`). They are never uploaded to any server, keeping your spiritual journal completely private.

Since the application uses a Progressive Web App (PWA) service worker, it caches all static code, fonts, and botanical watercolor layouts. Generating new verses and request AI reflections requires a connection, but you can review your Favorites and write Spiritual Journal notes completely offline.

Toggle the Daily Reminders switch (Bell icon) in the controls panel. Once you grant notification permissions, DailyVerse sets a local browser timer to send you a reminder notification every 24 hours.

DailyVerse supports English (KJV, ASV, WEB, BBE, and NIV/ESV mapped to WEB), Chinese (CUV — 和合本), Spanish (RVR1960 — Reina-Valera 1960), and Portuguese (ALMEIDA — Almeida Revista e Corrigida).

We support SEO-friendly language routing via `/[lang]` (e.g. `/zh`, `/es`, `/pt`, and `/en`). Selecting a language from the dropdown in the top-right corner automatically redirects you to the correct route, translating the interface, books of the Bible, and AI reflections.

NIV and ESV are copyright-restricted. When selected in English, DailyVerse serves the verse text from the World English Bible (WEB), which is a modern, faithful public-domain translation.

AI Reflection is an optional feature that generates a short, structured devotional commentary for the displayed verse — including historical background, a first-person reflection, practical life application, a brief prayer, and a key takeaway.

Toggle the 'AI' switch in the controls panel before generating a verse. When enabled, a reflection card will appear below the main verse card after each generation.

Yes. AI Reflections are generated in the language you have currently selected (English, Chinese, Spanish, or Portuguese), matching the specific Bible translation version you selected.

Yes. To save API costs and speed up response times, we cache all AI devotional reflections in a Cloudflare KV edge database. Subsequent requests for the same verse and translation load instantly.

No. No email lists, tracking cookies, or advertising trackers are used. Your preferences, favorites list, journal notes, and reminder settings are stored solely in your browser's localStorage.

Verse text is fetched live from bible-api.com, a free and open Bible API. We do not store or track your verse generation history on our servers.
